Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Suzy Wright and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my fourth year teaching Kindergarten at Bridge Point. Previously, I was a second grade teacher in AISD and a first grade teacher at Hyde Park Elementary School. This will be my 12th year in the classroom. I received a BA in Communications from Baylor University and a Masters of Education from Concordia University. I also hold certifications as a Reading Specialist and ESL EC-4 teacher. My husband Billy and I have been married for 25 years and we have two children - Tyler is a senior at Baylor University and Tanner is a Sophomore at Baylor as well. We have a fur daughter named Annie who is still going through the terrible five's. We rescued her at 6 months and she has many quirks that we can't help but laugh about. Her favorite treat is ice and her biggest fear is a plastic bag - go figure!!!
Kindergarten is such an exciting time for both children and parents. I clearly remember both of my boys' first day of kinder and I am thankful they had a teacher who was caring, nurturing, and respectful of my children. My wish for your student is that they will feel unconditional love and respect from me and that they will be excited each and every day to learn at school. I look forward to sharing this year with you and your child! If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask! My contact number is 512-732-9200 ext. 26083 or swright@eanesisd.net.
Sincerely,
Suzy Wright
