Weeks 36-37 I can not thank you enough for all of the wonderful treats and flowers, sweet cards and the very generous gift cards to some of my favorite places! You guys all made me feel so incredibly loved and appreciated. It has been an amazing year and I feel very blessed to have had the privilege of teaching your precious little ones. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I mentioned previously that I will be offering tutoring this summer for any students who would like to keep the skills they have acquired this year fresh for first grade! I have heard from a few of you but I wanted to offer one more time before I start planning tutoring times. Yearbooks went home today! There are still some available if you would like to buy one. The cost is $25 cash or check made out to BPE Booster Club. Important Dates & Information Thursday, May 17 - Volunteer Reception in the library immediately following Morning Assembly. You are all invited to our school wide celebration of…you! Hope you can make it! More info here: http://evite.me/YTMGgBVArE Friday, May 18 - May Madness All students should wear cool and comfortable clothes along with tennis shoes! Don't forget to slather on the sunscreen - it's going to be HOT!! We will be eating in the cafeteria but just a little bit later than normal. We will have recess and special areas in the afternoon but other than that, we will be taking it VERY easy! Thursday, May 24 - End of Year Class Party (12:35) Our master party planners are busy planning a fun end-of-year celebration! All parents are invited to join in the fun! The party will begin after the students return from special areas - around 12:34. The location of the party is still in the works (either in the classroom or outside) so we will make sure to let you know when all is decided! **Students will be welcome to leave with parents but must check out with either Mrs. Wright OR the front office. |
